Ratite Theropod

Dear All:

Here in southwestern Virginia we have an ostrich farm. The farm's
brochure says:

"Birds probably evolved from meat-eating (theropod) dinosaurs during
the Mesozoic Era, roughly 150 million years ago. Ostriches today closely
resemble these ancient creatures in skeletal structure. Many scientists say
that they would look very similar as they move."

Peace and grace,
