Re: Sinosauropteryx feathers?



I'd like to thank everyone for their responses to this thread, it's all been
very thought provoking stuff. One question still remains, though, that
nobody has yet tackled: Do the fossil birds, such as Confuciusornis, that
preserve a similar body feather outline to Sinosauropteryx, possess
pennaceous body contour feathers or not?

This obviously has implications for interpreting the Sinosauropteryx
fossils. Anyone willing to stick their neck out and offer an opinion?
