flying "foxes" & "S.A. Banack"

"S.A." Banack...the abbreviation is unnecessary, as
Sandra Banack is a brilliant field biologist, and I
highly recommend her 1996 dissertation (Univ.
California Berkeley),
Flying foxes, genus Pteropus, in the Samoan Islands:
interactions with forest communities, 281pp., easily
available from University Microfilms.
I am still of the opinion that chiropteran
ecomorphologies may have been present among pterosaurs.
