SEGNOSAURIA (2nd classification attempt)
Sorry if this is gonna cause another nomenclature discussion. To prevent
this, pease read: Any taxon I use here, are NOT according to ANY rule or
anithing at all, except for my own preference. I know my last post made a
discussion with no comparation because of my incorrect taxon names.
Again, the taxon names I use are only do give the taxon itself a definition,
and may or may not be scientifically correct.
I made this cladogram based on information I have collected about
Therizinosaurs. I'd appreciate any comments on the placement of the species.
here we go again:
|-Beipiaosaurus ('Oviraptorid' pelvis, coelurosaurid neck)
|-Alxasaurus ('Segnosaurid' pelvis/segnosaurid neck)
|-Neimongosauridae (due to features in neck, jaw and pelvis)
|-Therizinosauridae (advanced pelves/scapula)
|-Erlikosaurus (a tiny chance it's = Enigmosaurus)
|-Therizinosaurus (scapula/scapulacoracoid resembles Segno)
|-Nothronychus (Ischium very similar to Segnosaurus)
|-Enigmosaurinae (fused ischium/pubis)
|-Nanshiungosaurus (fused cervical ribs/spoonshaped ischium)
If you got any further questions on how I have classified them, feel free to
I'm gonna publish a illustrated guide to this cladogram in my website in a
week or more.
