New Scientist article on feathered dromaeosaur

Just about time to pop out of the office, but the following is online
concerning the new feathered dromaeosaur.

Of note is Larry Martin's comments:
"Larry Martin of the University of Kansas, a long-time sceptic of the notion
that dinosaurs evolved into birds, points out that researchers have been
duped before by elaborate fakes such as Archaeoraptor.

He says it is important that others confirm that the fossil is a true
dinosaur and not a hybrid fake. But if they do, he says he will reconsider
his position."

I think that is a fair statement to make, particularly with the concerns
over "archaeoraptor". The truth will win out, so there is nothing to be
lost by fair independant examination.
