He is often shown as having ram/goat horns, or an entire ovicaprid head
(and is probably where the horned devil stereotype came from).

Earlier on in Egyptian history, Seth wasn't associated with evil or
death. He was the god of foreigners, so when peaceful and important
trade relationships with foreigners existed, he was actually a
beneficial god. When foreign powers began to invade Egypt, Seth fell
into disrepute, and his 'history' was re-written to reflect his new
attributes.
