Re: Dinosauricon Phylogeny: complete

The designation of _nomen dubium_ can be a rather subjectice matter.

Definitely. For many genera and species, it comes down to the eye of the beholder. Some , like _Kakuru_ or _Xiaosaurus_ or _Titanosaurus_ or _Megalosaurus_ are on the bubble: their validity is a matter of differing opinion. Others are no-brainers: _Antrodemus_, _Agathaumas_, _Pteropelyx_ and _Paleoscincus_ (and so many others) fall into the category of undisputed _nomina dubia_.

Using this as a rule, the only way _Brontosaurus_ could be synonymized with
_Apatosaurus_ is if _ajax_ and _excelsus_ were synonyms.

Which might well be true.
