digitizing images of dinosaur fossils

Hi I have a student who is writing a term paper on digital imagery of
dinosaurs. She is interested in the techniques of this, so, she is trying
to find out information on things like the CAT scans that have been
digitized and also on using computer animations to reconstruct what
animals may have looked like with their skeletons fleshed out, so to
speak.
She is a computer tech so she understands technical talk, and if anyone
would have some information they would like to share with her, I would
appreciate hearing from you. I can then send her your way for some
questions. Thanks in advance Jane D
