The SVP Auction has gained Super Powers!

Howdy from Wyoming!

This year the SVP Auction and Auction Committee have gained Super Powers!
You will have to attend the 22nd Annual Auction to learn more. I would
like to encourage everyone attending this year's annual meeting of the
Society of Vertebrate Paleontology to add at least one item for the
auction in their luggage. As always, there will be a place at
registration to drop off your donated items. This year's Auction proceeds
will support the important JVP Back Issue Scanning Project.

We need as many donations as possible. These may include fossil casts,
books, reprints, artwork, toys, t-shirts, whatever (excluding fossils).
No one
has an excuse for not bringing something. No item is too small nor
inappropriate. If you
don't have something in your possession that you wish to part with, go to
one of
your local stores and pick up some fun prehistoric animal novelty items.
In addition, unusual or eccentric items are always encouraged. Remember,
SVP Auction donations are tax deductible.

This year's event promises to be a great evening, full of entertaining
auctioneers and loads of items that you can't live without. So mark your
calendars for this event on November 5, 2004 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served.

Thank you in advance for making the 22nd Annual SVP Auction a wonderful
success in Colorado.
See you in Denver!

Chair, SVP Auction Committee
