But half the fun of science is falsifying someone else's claim! ;-) The
other half of the fun is adding supporting evidence to an existing claim.
At the very least, a rigorous collecting campaign should be conducted on
the formation in question. If one Dicynodont specimen purportedly came
from the unit, then the odds are that the taxon is common there (rare
taxa are rarely collected or are never collected).
I'll even offer my services. Just make the grant check out to moi. ;-)
