Re: Age of the Djadok(ht)a, Barun Goyot and Nemegt Formations

<<I would like to point out that for over a hundred years, triconodonts were
not known from the Cretaceous. Will it take a hundred years to stop
shoehorning formations based on narrow interpretations of time-ranges?>>

According to present thinking on the Purbeck Limestone Group, Triconodon and
friends from Dorset are Lower Cretaceous critters. This suggests
triconodonts were known from the Cretaceous, but nobody recognised that as
being the age. They were incorrectly assigned to the Upper Jurassic.
