non-dino feathers paper



HI:
 In the paper the authors write: Some of these had true feathers and were 
indeed birds known as "microraptors," while others did not and should not be 
considered birds at all.

 I thought microraptors  were "dinosaurs", what's the point they are trying to 
make here?
