CTVT (canine transmissible venereal tumor) is a new vertebrate
bauplaun - with no vertebra at all! Phylogenetically it is a dog
(Canis lupus)... could we call it a dog?

If it were defined as "Actinopterygii", that would be a good thing! People
might stop serving ray as "fish"...
Have you eaten ray wings? I have (when there was nothing better in the
university cafeteria here). Slimy and fibrous at the same time. It's
incredible. The monophyly of Osteichthyes becomes patently obvious this way.
