The crest obviously is a resonating chamber like lambeosaurs to call
other scavengers to dinner - ;-)

Any guesses how long before Prof. Horner has a press release declaring
the new Tyrannosaur to be a scavanger? "The thin crest along the top of
its head obviously precludes any active predatory behavior, much like
the extra large teeth of its descendant indicate scavenging..."  *LOL*
