I don't much care whether we pronounce names rightly or wrongly, so
long as we all do it the same. Deep in my heart, I am still
psychically scarred from hearing Darren Naish say diplo-doh-SIDE-ee
instead of dipo-DOC-ih-day.

I'd be perfectly happy with a rule that said that the names gets to
choose how the name is pronounces. Even if that meant I had to say
"Rebbachi-SORE-us" but "Limay-SOUR-OOS"
