My mistake. I meant to post that to the list:

Parrots. A cockatoo once tried to eat his nose. I sympathise - vicious buggers when they don't like you.

It's spelled Irwin, by the way...

As it happens I saw him in action with various animals. He only *looked* like he was taking undue risks, but he knew what he was doing.

Ahem, yes _E_rwin, not Urwin as I had.

No worries. I got contacted off-list and was told it is actually "Irwin".
