Hasn't the soft tissue preservation on Pelicanimimus has been
interpretted alternately as a neck pouch or wattle? It was also
described as naked, although I think a strong case has been made that
it is actually preserved muscle tissue (thich would tend to back up the
idea that it's a pouch).

No, but that doesn't mean anything. Skin impressions are simply
extremely rare. Â
