Re: News Item: Dinosaurs sprinted across the planet



Ok... one question this immediately poses... what
would be the estimated running speed of
*Allosaurus*-sized tyrannosaurs (*Gorgosaurus*,
*Daspletosaurus*).
If *Allosaurus* could motor at 21 mph, one could
speculate that a similar sized tyrannosaur would be
capable of faster speeds (25 mph+)?  

I also would have loved to have seen speed estimates
of ornithomimids and troodontids... :-)
