RE: Is there someone who understand swedish?

Hi,

Report of Hurum's new pliosaur finds from Spitsbergen...

Ny skräcködla hittad på Svalbard
[A new "terror lizard" found from Spitsbergen]

Oslo.
Svalbards granitberg.
[Oslo. A group of norwegian paleontologist, scientist who study extinct
panst and animals, have found remaind of another ancien monster under granit
mountains of Spitsbergen.]

[At summer a pliosaur, a meateating marine reptile, with nearly 2-meter long
skull, was fond (or excaveted) from Knorringfjället, and now a another lizard
of similar kind has been found few kilometers distant. the even bigger find,
also a pliosaur, was found during expedition at autumn.]

[Researcher Jörn H Hurum is enthustic, because the new find appear to be
previously unknown species of pliosaur.]

[Pliosaurus seems to be the largest predator ever found. It was a
crocodillike monster, of thew size of the (european) bus, with very large
tusks that would have made any alligator envious. Animal lived in water, and
fed itself with ichtyosaurs (fishreptiles) and pterosaurs (flyreptiles).]

["It was large, very large" tells Hurum to newspaper Bergens Tidende (Bergen
Times). He postulates that the warming of climate has made the finding of
this kind of animals easier.]

[Now the found bonepieces will be put together, and in the future the find
will be presented in a pressconference.]

Arg, haven't been using second national language fro a while... :)

Hope this clears things up... :)
