Re: Racial/ethnic minorities in American paleontology

I've always thought that what in the United States is
called "Latino" or "Hispanic" is an unnatural mixture
of races of different ethnic and national
origins...and about the City of Los Angeles, remember
that California was part of the New Spain and then of
the Republic of Mexico, so Mexicans were living there
long before the first anglo-americans settled, that's
the reason why many of the places still bear Spanish
names. ("Rancho La Brea", for instance).

Best regards.
