Re: was Ophiacodon the best?

Was *Ophiacodon mirus* the top amphibious carnivore of the Early Permian?

Pangaea is big, and the Early Permian lasted a very long time...

I'm hoping for something that can lunch on a gorgonopsid.

There ain't no gorgonopsid in the Early Permian. There weren't any therapsids in the Early Permian, except *Tetraceratops*.

*Watongia* was a gigantic varanopid.
