Friend at work just gave me May 2008 _Smithsonian_, with a short article on
Cope-Marsh and Arthur Lakes Morrison Quarry 10.
Mention is made of baby _Apatosaurus_ tracks, spaced far apart, of the rear
legs only - "scoot(ing) along on its hind legs like a basilisk,". Could these
be underprints and the lighter tread fore prints eroded away or was this
