Re: How did T. rexes hold their hands?

I had read somewhere at one point or another that T. rex (and presumably others) may have had some downward rotating ability in the arm, as well. Not much, but like the left arm moving from a 3:00 position to a 5:00 position. Any opinions?

In which plane? Do you just mean extension of the elbow? That was possible -- though not by much. *Tyrannosaurus* arms had generally very restricted motion; they seem to have been used to hold something in place.
