Re: Stan Winston

And all the other "flesh and blood" (non-digital-pokery) JP saurians down to the tiny compys. His contribution to firing and fanning the public's appreciation of dinosaurs has been enormous. Also his Terminators, Predators, Aliens, Mechas, Lestat, Edward Scissorhands, Pumpkinhead and many others. Whatever the merits of the films, they were graced by some of the most memorable movie beasties of modern times. A true genius who will be hugely missed. The Winston Effect: The Art and History of Stan Winston Studio by Jody Duncan is a lavish tribute and heartily recommended.
