Subject: surface/volume ratio in pterosaurs

Due to its very high surface to volume ratio, at what minimum size
would a pterosaur have to be to avoid dessication while flying in dry
air?

Durned if I know. Good question.

What countermeasures could extend that minimum size or maximum time exposed to the elements?

Fur, flying high enough for the lapse rate to lower the surrounding air temperature. Coloration, skin properties?
