In brief, it's an allosauroid, but apparently not a carcharodontosaurid. At least at first glance, it kinda looks like it could be an honest-to-God allosaurid, but there is no phylogenetic analysis in the paper.


Very cool name, but *osteon* is neuter, so it's *Aerosteon riocoloradense*.
