Re: Diplodocus: Return to the Swamps????

Okay, so there's all this "if" business regarding swamp-treading
sauropods vs. their crocodilian doom. Tell me this: what does a swamp
deposit look like, geologically, where are these swamp deposits with
sauropods mired in them, and where are the big crocodilian teeth with
these mud-bogged sauropods? Where are the localities? How can miring
be determined as a cause of death, taphonomically? How can you
determine crocodilians fed on a sauropod with just shed teeth in a
fluvial system?
