The PhyloCode, which aims to be the first code covering names for all
types of organisms, has a relevant recommendation:
http://www.ohio.edu/phylocode/art10.html#rec10d

In Ben's example, it is recommended that, if the animal genus name
_Gastonia_ is converted to a clade name when the plant genus name
_Gastonia_ has already been converted, then the animal genus name
should be converted as _Zoo-Gastonia_.
