Re: dino-lice

In addition, in the Cretaceous you also have a production of small
eggs from the diversity of small birds and non-therian mammals. I do
not think egg-eating put most egg-laying animals at risk anymore than
the preference by predators on the young of herbivorous mammals. For
birds put their eggs either on trees or ground, at the reach of many
carnivorous or omnivorous mammals which can walk and/or climb trees,
yet this does not appear to stop birds from being the most diverse of
tetrapods.
