What about carefully piercing eggs, then entering the narrow and
delicate snout into the hole to avoid the egg contents oozing
outwards? Strenght is required to pierce the egg, but also care. The
strenght may be provided by the greater lever arm of the triceps, and
the care by the minuteness of the piercing device...
Regarding bald necks, Old World vultures are not bald, just have short
feathers on the head and neck.
