Is Nectocaris pteryx a cephalopod? No...



Dear DMLers,
yes, Nectocaris is definitely not a dinosaur but I believe you will
find it interesting;o)
A critique of Smith and Caron's paper on Nectocaris pteryx (Nature
465: 469-472) was long-awaited because especially cephalopod workers
were pretty shocked by their interpretation of this Cambrian creature.
So, in short, Dawid Mazurek and Michał Zatoń have an interesting paper
