And now for something completely different ..........

This has nothing to do with paleoartists, copyrights, or even strictly dinosaurs, so forgive me. But here is a link to a series of rather remarkable photos of animal camouflage. Many, but not all, are invertebrates --- there are several avian maniraptorans and one mammal. The maniraptorans are interesting because one shows camouflage adapted to resting on the ground. We always see dinosaurs with bright patterns but this shows that it ain't necessarily so.
