Re: 11th specimen of Archaeopteryx "sickle claw"



Although the small size of this animal negates it as a defense against anything 
much larger than itself, if caught/pinned by a small predator, could Archie's 
foot-claws have been used to much effect? 


I'm not aware of the total fauna on those islands - Compsognathus? - that could 
have preyed on it, so was just wondering.
