Ooh, awesome. Far from being amphibians in any sense other than "anamniotic tetrapod", the baphetids have been known since the middle 19th century, but are still poorly understood and therefore mysterious, except for the outer surface of the skull, where the function of the rostroventral extension of the orbit is the only mystery. CT-scanning the braincase may clarify that one in particular!
