PaleoFest- Late Cretaceous Symposium

Greetings All,

PaleoFest updates! The final speaker lineup for the PaleoFest/late
Cretaceous Symposium that Burpee Museum is hosting in partnership the
Cleveland Museum of Natural History is online and can be found here
http://www.burpee.org/documents/SpeakerSchedule_021513_000.pdf

The End of the Dinosaurs: Changes in the Late Cretaceous Biosphere will
have over 30 presentations in two days, covering the
paleoenvironments/flora, invertebrates, fish, turtles, crocodiles,
marine reptiles, pterosaurs, mammals and several dinosaur genera. There
will be presentations that involve African, Antarctic, Asian, N.
American, and S. American faunas.

For the younger audience we will have plenty of hands on workshops and
activities and we are bringing Scott Sampson, AKA Dr. Scott, back for
some children's programs.

We have a reasonable 1 and 2 day pass for students and the host hotel,
Cliffbreakers-Lexington Hotel has a great PaleoFest rate of $69.00 a
night and is only about 5 minutes from the museum. General info about
PaleoFest can be found at www.burpee.org

I hope I see many of you at this as we celebrate our 15th PaleoFest. If
anyone has questions about the event feel free to shoot me an email.

Thanks,

Scott Williams
