Re: [dinosaur] Parasuminia, new anomodont from Upper Permian of Russia
The site seems conflicted over whether _Suminia_ was arboreal or aquatic!
Note that _Suminia_ was not the only tree-living vertebrate known from the Late Permian. There were also the gliding weigeltisaurids (like _Coelurosauravus_), known from around the world, and certainly arboreal (and likely scansorial as well). (Scansorial/arboreal abilities were once proposed for the Late Permian dicynodont _Cistecephalus_, but subsequently refuted [Nasterlack et al. 2012 DOI: 10.1080/02724634.2012.697410].)
