Re: [dinosaur] Skull length of Sue

The paper is just out! People are still processing.

One question is exactly how the defined "skull length": premaxilla tip to tip of quadrate? to tip of the occipital condyle? These will be different numbers.

Good day,

I would like to ask what is the general opinion about the new Gignac and Erickson paper about Tyrannosaurus rex jaw biomechanics, esp. regarding their Sue´s skull length of just 127.5 cm? This seems to be too low a value. Thank you in advance, Tom
