Authors find a number of character states miscoded for taxa in the Baron et al. (2017) paper: rerunning the rescored matrix finds a traditional Ornithischia + (Theropoda + Sauropodomoprha), with some of the Triassic saurischians (Guaibasaurus, Daemonosaurus, Herrerasauria, etc.) as non-theropod, non-sauropodomorph saurischians. Additionally point out that claims that the Baron et al. results showing a Northern Hemisphere origin for Dinosauria are not supported by analytical results.

Criticize the criticisms, and note miscoded cells in Langer et al. Rerunning their matrix with some changes, they find ÂIthey find herrerasaurs as the sister group to Dinosauria, but retain a Sauropodomorpha + (Theropoda + Ornithischia) structure. ndependent of other recent analyses,ÂPisanosaurusÂas a silesaurid. Novel discovery is DaemonosaurusÂas a basal ornithischian!!
